This was a great workout we did this evening. It was tough, everyone pushed themselves hard. It's great to see my friends advancing in their fitness (myself included!)
each exercise is done for 45 seconds and then 15 seconds is "rest" while you move to the next exercise. Complete all 4 before moving back to the first one. I will show the weights we used, you can use lighter weights or simplify the exercises.
4 rounds of:
30" box jump* (max reps in 45 seconds)
rest 15 seconds
40# bent over dumbbell rows (max reps in 45 seconds)
rest 15 seconds
leg lifts 12# dumbbell between the feet (max reps 45 seconds)
rest 15 seconds
leaning pushups ** (max reps in 45 seconds)
rest 15 seconds
* if you don't have a box jump simply do a squat but jump as high as you can each time.
** leaning pushups are where you put your arms a little wider than shoulder width apart and with each rep you alternate putting your right shoulder to your right hand then your left shoulder to your left hand. It felt natural to me to lift the opposite leg to keep my balance.
